Report: Kihei Condo Appreciation Spikes For Some, Not Others

Updated: Jan 30, 2019

A report issued by Maui Alert news finds that most of Kihei's condo complexes have recovered their value since the crash of 2008, but not all them.

The news outlet analyzed the 20 largest complexes in Kihei.

It found the average appreciation for condos in those units was 7.69 percent. A couple of those complexes saw appreciation rates at more than 30%.

However, four complexes had averages that were still lower than the average in 2008. One vacation rental complex saw a negative gain of more than 15 %.
